There isn’t one specific company or model that is best because we all have different reasons for wanting these. But keep these features in mind.
Weight - If it’s too heavy for you to move especially while there is water in the tank, then it’s pointless for you to use.
Cord - If the cord is really short, then it’s just going to build frustration that you really don’t need. Make sure that the cord is fairly long so that you can use it where you need to.
Extensions - Make sure there are proper extensions on the unit to make sure you can clean your stairs or in corners.
Ease of obtaining the cleaning solution - If you have to order some proprietary blend of cleaning solution for the machine to work properly, you may want to avoid that unit. The solution will be more expensive and more inconvenient than something you can grab off the shelf.
