Rug Cushion - Non Slip Rug Cushions
Some rugs just need some cushion. They are thin and getting older which a cushion could help preserve the life of that rug.
What can a rug cushion do for a rug besides make it last longer.
A rug cushion will make walking on the rug much more comfortable. The extra padding underneath will give the rug a little extra bend to it. This is especially nice for rugs on tile and hard wood flooring.
A rug cushion will also help reduce slipping on the rug as well as rugs creeping across rooms and hallways. A non slip rug cushion is a safer alternative especially in areas that your rug can cause a fall.
Rug cushions will also reduce the wear and tear on a rug from furniture. If your rug is under a dining room table, there is quite a bit of weight on the rug and the pile of the rug. Using a cushion will help with this weight on the rug over long periods of time.
If you want more cushion, go for the thicker models. They are as thick as a half inch in size. This will make the rug and pad underneath a bit harder to adjust at first, but it will stay in place.
Some cushions have to be cut to size depending on the style of rug so make sure that you are ready to cut if your have a rug that is a different shape.
