Irobot 530 Roomba - Improved Robotic Vaccuum Now Better For Rugs

The Roomba robotic vacuum cleaner (pictured below) is a small circular vacuum cleaner that works on it’s own to clean your tile floors, carpets, and rugs. It’s kind of like the “maid service” that runs in the backgrounds constantly cleaning up after you saving you time and effort.

One of the big problems with the original roomba vacuums were rugs. The height of rugs, especially ones under a rug pad, was just too high for the roomba to actually climb over. Also the robotic vacuum would get stuck in the rug fringe tangling it up and in many cases ruining it.

So the idea of this vacuum working all day with the chance of messing up the rug fringe was not a good idea.

Today, the improved irobot 530 roomba has solved the rug fringe issues and can climb onto much taller rugs than before. This is a viable solution to keeping your rugs clean in rooms where you have rugs without the drawback of the original models.

Features

Cleans underneath tables and other furniture a traditional vacuum would have problems with due to it’s size.

It can follow the wall’s edges and clean along baseboards quite well.

The roobma has an anti-tangle system so it won’t get stuck in carpet fringe, tassel, or electrical cords.

And one of the coolest things: It comes back to the charging dock when it’s done all on it’s own.

So if you are looking for a simple way to save time and keep your rugs clean the irobot 530 is a good option.
