How To Wash Bathroom Floor Mats
Bathroom floor mats obviously get very dirty. They also get really wet too from the humidity of the shower and the drip drying that some do over the bathroom floor mat. These conditions make them so they need to be washed. But how do you actually wash these bathroom floor mats?
Most mats have a rubber backing on them. These backings help hold the bathroom mat in place as well as help protect the flooring from some of the moisture. The problem though is that these backing when washed incorrectly can cause some serious problems as they will bunch up and come off the mat.
In order to prevent ruining your bathroom floor mat while washing them, put them into the washer and use cold water. You don’t want this rubber backing to get too hot else it will come on very easily.
After it’s washed, it’s best to avoid dryers. This backing will come off in the dryer. Hang the bathroom floor mat to dry.
If you are concerned, you can also just wash your bathroom mats in the tub from time to time as well.
