Hoover Steamvac Detergent
Hoover steamvac detergent is a product made from rug shampooers and steamvac specifically for hoover products but can be used for other brand of carpet cleaners as well.
This is very useful for rug and carpet cleaners because it can help you treat your carpets and rugs and get stains out rather easily. Whether you rent or buy your steamvac and carpet shampoo machines, the big issue is the quality of the cleaner. Most of the time the ones you rent come with a basic cleaner that’s just not quite as good as this type of of product.
A steamvac can come in handy because it’s on hand for quick stains, spills, and even pet urine and accidents that might occur. Using steamvac detergent on them as soon as the stain is made will increase the chances that no long term staining will be on your rug or carpet.
A couple of considerations have to be made when you look for a steamvac detergent.
Some of these detergents have oxygen based cleaners in them. For more carpets this is fine, but for rugs oxygen based cleaners can sometimes cause color loss and ruin a rug. Whatever you do test the cleaner on a small part of the rug, just a few drops, to make sure that the rug won’t be damaged.
There are no scent and no fragrance varieties. Sometimes the smells from cleaners can become a bit overwhelming for some.
If you don’t have a steamvac, similar make up of this detergent is sold in a spray bottle that can be directly applied to the rug or carpet to help with small spills and stains.
