Bissell Rug Scrubber
Sometimes the power of vacuums are not enough when trying to clean up an area rug. At times long hairs and pet hairs are tough for vacuum cleaners to properly suck up. Something like a Bissell rug scrubber can take the place of the vacuum and help get up the harder to get items like pet hair.
The concept is that the brushes can get deeper into the rug and get out of the harder to reach places that some vacuums can not.
Before using any new brush from any machine on your rug, it’s best to try a trial test. This is to see if the brushes may be too rough for your particular rug because you don’t want to ruin in the rug while trying to clean it.
This particular product has an advantage and complaint all in one. It does so well with hair that the hair can get caught in the brushes. This will have to manually be removed by hand and cleaned much more often than another vacuum cleaner would.
Also specific models of Bissell rug scrubbers have been known to have belt problems where the belt seems to wear out much more premature than one would have thought it would.
